Things have been going smoothly. Your kids are fun, helpful and polite. Christian and James are getting along well with the team. We are happy to have them!
Here is a sailing update from Roberto:
Light wind most days but still got two good wind days which averaged 15-16 knots . Kids have practiced alot of team racing. Today was the worst for no wind, so when they were not sailing, the kids swam in the lake and played ultimate frisbee on the water.
The day to day routine has been that after the kids wake up, ( the boys are
up a good hour before the girls and Roberto has allowed the boys to
use the " Tsunami" wake up call - much to the dismay of the girls! ) eat, pack up, and leave for the club (9:30am), they are out on the water by 10:30.
They stay out until around 4pm and after de-rigging their boats, enjoy a snack and relax by swimming in the pool and jumping on the water trampoline.
The kids take a shower and then listen to Roberto debrief. They have enjoyed watching themselves on video.
We have been fortunate to eat dinner on the patio every night due to the sunny weather.
Last night the kids went for soft serve ice cream and tonight we are tubing. A friend of ours drove their boat along side so that all kids could ride. Such big smiles!! Lots of fun after such a humid day!
Roberto took some neat shots of the kids on the water so we will send when we return home tonight!
The plan is to depart for Cleveland by 9am so that the kids can sail in the afternoon.
